This shows the portion of claims paid directly by insurance. It represents the contracted rate minus any assigned patient responsibility. If no patient responsibility applies, you will see the full contracted amount here.

2. Insurance Reconciliation

(Second table)

If there are discrepancies between Alpaca’s predicted patient responsibility (based on the member’s eligibility file) and what the payer reports, adjustments are made here. These reconciliations ensure that the Insurance Payout amount reflects the correct final payment.

3. Patient Responsibility Payout

When a patient or caregiver pays their share of the responsibility, you will see those funds listed here. This ensures your organization receives the full contracted amount across insurance and patient sources.
